Dr. Ambedkar Shodhpeeth
Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Peeth was established on April 4, 2017 when Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan Smt. Vasundhara Raje Sindhia Ji announced it on the occasion of 125th Birth Anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, i.e. April 14, 2016. It was welcomed in the 29th meeting of Board of Management of the University held on June 13, 2016.
THRUST AREA
The thrust area of the chair is “Thoughts of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar” for pursing study, research, and teaching and extension activities.
OBJECTIVE
The Peeth undertakes study and research programmes on various aspects of the philosophy, thoughts, ideology and mission of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) had signed on 30.06.2017 between University of Kota, Kota and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Foundation, Mundala, Jaipur.
REPRESENTATIVE PAST ACTIVITIES
- Organized an Essay competition on डॉ. भीमराव अम्बेडकर जी युगपुरुष: 13.04.2017.
- Organized the Vichar-Ghosthi programme on "डॉ. भीमराव अम्बेडकर जी की सामाजिक समरसता" : 15.04.2017, followed by prize distribution of the essay competition held on 13.04.2017.
